A native of Southern California, Dr. Colin Dias is an American psychiatrist who is best known as the husband to Lia Dias of Married to Medicine.
Education
Colin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Science degree with a minor in chemistry. He went ahead to receive another Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from California State University at Fullerton.
Colin also obtained his MD in May 2002 from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington D.C.

Colin is married to Lia. It is not clear when the two got married as they are yet to share that information. Lia is a business entrepreneur who owns a business with three beauty supply storefronts under the name, The Girl Cave LA.

Divorce
On August 30, 2021, TMZ reported that Colin and his wife were seeking a divorce. They reported that Lia filed and was granted a temporary restraining order days after her husband filed for divorce. He is also said to have filed his temporary restraining order.
TMZ also reported that there were abuse claims between the couple in which Lia alleges that in the course of their marriage, there were instances when Colin; “punched her, verbally harassed her, threatened her and/or prevented her from leaving.”
Colin’s side of the story on how things were is different. He claims that Lia is “erratic and emotionally abusive.” He also alleges that there was an instant when Lia punched him in the gut after abdominal surgery.

Colin has been practicing as a psychiatrist since August 2003. He and his wife Lia started KLC Consultants after the couple saw the increased demand for medical care in their community and the wider country.
