Later, he studied evolution at the University of Michigan. Charlie won a $50,000 grant from National Geographic in 2014 to travel the United States and share his nature experiences. He created the short series “Nature Boom Time”.

The series is produced in association with National Geographic Kids, and both hosts are National Geographic Junior Explorers.
