Jerry Taft Death
Taft died on July 23, 2020, at the age of 77. Amongst his children who publicly paid tribute to him was his daughter Skylar who wrote on Facebook saying;
“Dear Dad, Words cannot even begin to express how much I’m going to miss you. I’m so lucky to have been your daughter. You filled every room with love and laughter. You were the most amazing dad and I know you’re going to be an amazing guardian angel. I love you so much. RIP. Love Skylar”
His other daughter, Dana, also wrote; “My Father, Jerry Taft, was a well-known meteorologist and weatherman in Chicago starting in 1975 on NBC channel 5 and moving over to WLS Channel 7 shortly thereafter. To me, he was just my Dad 💜. I will miss you terribly but I’ve actually missed you my whole life. RIP my Daddy.”
