“My little sister is about to have her second child and I might miss the birth bc I’m taping my second hour special in Los Angeles on May 22nd. However, I would really love for YOU to watch ME give birth.”

Nikki Glaser Comedy

At the age of 18, Nikki began her standup career writing her very first jokes while in college. During an interview with Rich Tupica in Revue magazine, Glaser revealed that at the beginning of her career she did not know how to write jokes, she only knew stand-ups.

Glaser shared that she wrote her stand-ups based on the perspective of her favorite stand-ups because she didn’t know what her perspective was yet.

She has since then performed stand-up on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan as well as two seasons of the reality series Last Comic Standing.

On April 9, 2016, Glaser had her first feature stand-up special, Perfect, on Comedy Central. Later, on October 1, 2019, her second special, Bangin’, premiered on Netflix.

Glaser hosts her own podcast known as The Nikki Glaser Podcast which released its first episode on March 22, 2021. The podcast is co-hosted by fellow stand-up comedian Andrew Collin.

As a podcast host, Glaser hosted a podcast with comedian Sara Schaefer called You Had To Be There from 2011 to 2014. She also appeared on arch 2015. There, she addressed subjects such as her experience with co-host Dan Ryckert at college.

Together with comedian Phil Hanley and roommate/musician Anya Marina, Nikki co-hosted the podcast We Know Nothing; a humorous relationship-based podcast. The podcast takes calls from listeners and attempts to give them love advice.

Glaser also hosted the companion podcast to her Comedy Central show Not Safe from January to October 2016, together with Dan St. Germain and Brian Frange.
