George Noory Biography
A native of Detroit, Michigan, George Noory is a radio talk show host who has been the weekday host of the late-night radio talk show Coast to Coast AM since January 2003.
The program is syndicated by Premiere Networks to hundreds of radio stations in the U.S. and Canada. George has also appeared in the History Channel series Ancient Aliens and in Beyond Belief, a subscription-based online video series presented by gaia.com.
He attended the University of Detroit where he spent two years in the pre-dental program before switching his major to Communications. In 1972, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree.

Noory was born on June 4, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan. He is 73 years old as of 2023.
Parents and Siblings
Noory is the son of a Lebanese Egyptian who worked at Ford Motor Company and a Lebanese American mother. He grew up in Detroit with his two younger sisters.
Noory was raised as a Roman Catholic. As a teenager, he became interested in the paranormal and ufology as a child and joined the UFO organization NICAP.
Wife and Children
Noory has been married and divorced. He was married to Lisa Noory. The two were married for a while but later divorced.
Noory also revealed that he had been married another time. He, however, has not provided information about his other marriage and who his then-wife was. He has three children and four grandchildren.
Coast To Coast With George Noory
In 1996, George hosted a late-night radio program called Nighthawk on KTRS in St. Louis, which caught the attention of executives at Premiere Radio Networks, syndicators of Coast to Coast AM. Coast to Coast AM is a North American late-night radio talk show that deals with a variety of topics, but most frequently ones that relate to either the paranormal or conspiracy theories.
In April 2001, George became a guest host for Coast to Coast AM. He later replaced Ian Punnett as the Sunday night host. Following Art Bell’s retirement, in January 2003, George took over as a weeknight host of Coast to Coast AM.
Gaiam TV, in December 2012, launched Beyond Belief with George Noory, a subscription-based webcast exploring the unknown and mysteries of the universe.
Premiere Networks in May 2017, announced a new contract for George which will keep him hosting Coast to Coast AM until 2020.
According to Talkers Magazine estimates, Coast to Coast AM has a cumulative weekly audience of around 2.75 million unique listeners listening for at least five minutes. This makes it the most listened-to program in its time slot. The program is heard on more than 600 stations in the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
