He is the current host of the prime-time show Dan Abrams Live on NewsNation. He also hosts The Dan Abrams Show: Where Politics Meets The Law that airs on SiriusXM’s P.O.T.U.S. channel.
Abrams also serves as the Chief Legal Analyst of ABC News. He is also the creator and host of Court Cam. In addition, has previously hosted A&E cable network’s show Live PD and anchored Nightline. He was the chief legal correspondent and analyst for NBC News and the general manager of MSNBC. Abrams covered the O. J. Simpson murder trial during his time as a reporter for Court TV.

Dan began his career in 1994 working for Court TV as a reporter. Among the stories that he covered during his time here are the O. J. Simpson murder trial and the assisted suicide trials of Dr. Jack Kevorkian. He became NBC News’s general assignment correspondent in 1997 and in 1999 a Chief Legal Correspondent.
In 2001, Dan got his own show on MSNBC called The Abrams Report began airing. Dan became the General Manager of MSNBC on June 12, 2006. He left MSNBC in October 2007 to put more focus on his new show called Live with Dan Abrams. The show was later renamed Verdict with Dan Abrams.
