Damon is best known for being a member of the hip-hop trio The Fat Boys where he was known as “Kool Rock-Ski”. The Fat Boys formed in the year 1982 and broke up in 1991 before reuniting in the year 2008.
Their self-titled debut studio album was released in the year 1984 and was certified Gold and reached #6 on the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart and #48 on the Billboard 200 chart. The Fat Boys had success with their albums The Fat Boys Are Back in the year 1985 and Big & Beautiful in 1986.
Their album Crushin’ in the year 1987 reached #4 on the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart and #8 on the Billboard 200 chart. The group also released the albums Coming Back Hard Again in the year 1988, On and On in 1989, and Mack Daddy in 1991. As an actor, Damon appeared in the movies Knights of the City, Disorderlies, and My Crackhead Uncle.

Damon Wimbley The Fat Boys
Damon was a member of the American hip-hop trio from Brooklyn, New York City, The Fat Boys, which was formed in the early 1980s. It was originally known as the Disco 3.
The group is composed of Mark Morales “Prince Markie Dee”, Kool Rock-Ski, along with Darren “Buff Love” Robinson. Mark died of a heart attack in the year 2021 while Darren also died of a heart attack during a bout with respiratory flu in the year 1995. This leaves Damon as the only remaining member of the group.
The group broke up in the year 1991 after Prince Markie Dee left the group to pursue solo interests, which included producing many early tracks for Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige.
The remaining two members, Damon and Buff Love carried on as a duo as well as released Mack Daddy (1991), but shortly thereafter, the group disbanded. They would later reunite in the year 2008.
