During the Hollywood Round, Bishop was shown in the “Rock” category of the Genre Challenge, alongside Beane, Christian Terry, and Althea Grace. She sang “She Talks to Angels” by The Black Crowes during the Showstoppers Round. Casey did amazing enough to proceed to the next round.

Bishop sang “Decode” by Paramore and “Wish You Were Here” by Incubus in a duet with Brandon Boyd. She received enough votes to be considered “safe”.

During the Top 16 competitions, Bishop sang “Black Hole Sun” by Soundgarden. She received enough votes to become a Top 12 finalist and in order to celebrate, Casey sang “House of the Rising Sun” by The Animals.
