Born in the United States, Ben Terry is an American Meteorologist currently working for KPLC-TV 7 (NBC). He joined the KPLC News team in 2011. Ben also cast weather at 7News Sunrise every morning and midday. He is also seen casting weather at FOX 29 News in the morning.
Ben is also involved in the National Weather Association(NWA) and the American Meteorological Society(AMS). He was once the president of the Southeast Texas/Southwest Louisiana Chapter of the two organizations.
Terry is involved in numerous charitable organizations throughout Southwest Louisiana including the Ad and Press Club, American Cancer Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Louisiana, and the Louisiana/Mississippi Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, founding a local support group for those coping with the diseases.
