Amanda Michelle Seyfried a native of Pennsylvania, is an American actress, singer, and model. She started her modeling career at the age of 11 and acting at 15. Her first acting roles include; Lucy Montgomery in As the World Turns and Joni Stafford in All My Children. In 2004, she gained wide recognition for her role as Karen Smith in Mean Girls.
In 2006, she was cast as Sarah Henrickson in the drama series Big Love. Her film credits include; Mamma Mia! and its sequel Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Solstice, Jennifer’s Body, Chloe, and Dear John. Her roles as Cosette in the musical film Les Misérables and Marion Davies in the biographical film Mank earned her nominations for Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Critics’ Choice Movie Award, and a Saturn Award.
